Day 1 : International Arrival
Meet and Greet on arrival at Mombasa Moi international airport by our Bravura tour guide/representative. Transfer to your preferred South Coast beach hotel for a half board accommodation. A variety of hotels are available here, 4 and 5 star hotels depending on your budget. Some of these hotels offer an all inclusive bookings that makes your stay easier, economical and enjoyable.
Day 2: Full Day - Diani
Enjoy the the sandy beach, the hot sun, and the hotel facilities such as swimming pool for your relaxation after the long international flight. During this day, you can explore a variety of activities such as various water sports, snorkeling, boat rides, deep sea fishing, and much more or just relax in your room or in the bar.
Day 3 : Diani - Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, drive about 200Km to Tsavo West National Park. This journey will take you away from the coastline towards the inner settlements of the native coast people; Mijikendas, Taitas, and Samburus (closely related to Masai). Palm trees will reduce in density as you drive away from the coastline and get replace by dry bushes, scrups and grasslands on red soils of Tsavo. Elephants, Girraffe seen in the bushes, Tsavo river, and Taita Hills in the backdrop are signs of entering Tsavo territory.
Once in the national pack through the Tsavo River Gate, enjoy enroute game drive as we head to the lodge for checkin and overnight stay. In game drive at Tsavo we will search for the famous animals that include, elephants, Girrafes, cheetahs, lions, and many others. Tsavo is home to the worlds longest lava flow known as Yatta plateau which influenced not only the landscape but the flora and fauna. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After relaxing from the 4 hours journey, depart for afternoon game drive to further explore the beauty of Tsavo West. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 : Tsavo West National Park – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, checkout and depart for Mzima springs to experience crystal clear waters from natural springs believed to emanate from Mt Kilimanjaro. A beautiful nature walk to enjoy the vegetation, birds while in the company of an armed game ranger. Hippos, crocodiles and variety of fish are seen in the springs. The beauty of the springs warranted shooting sections of 'Out of Africa' movie here.
Drive and exit Tsavo West through Chyulu gate and head towards Amboseli national park. This 2 hours drive will take us through 'shetani lava' where will stop over for close experience and phote sessions. Arrive in time for lunch and some rest at your lodge.
Depart for evening game drive in Amboseli National Park. Enjoy huge herd of elephants grazing in the park. Other animals here include leopards, lions, zebras, antelops and more. With a friendly weather and clear skies, Mt Kilimanjaro can easily be seen standing tall about (5894m above sea level). This is the highest mountain in Africa and among the few with snow.
Day 5 : Amboseli National Park - Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast depart from Amboseli as you enjoy an en route game drive. You will travel for 4 hours to Tsavo East national Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your prefered lodge and take some rest. Depart later for an evening game drive in search for lions, giraffe, zebras, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and hudreds of birds species among other attractions. You will notice that elephants here appear red in color, because they splash their bodies with the red soil in the area.
Day 6 : Tsavo East National Park – Diani Beach
Depart early in the morning for a game drive and enjoy more game viewing of the park. Return back to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Enjoy more game viewing en route back to Diani. Arrive in the afternoon. Lunch can be taken en route or in the hotel according to your preference.
Day 7 : Full Day : Diani
Enjoy the better part of this day resting as you reminiscent the beautiful safari and offload your pictures to your external or online storage. Explore the hotel facilities such as swimming poor, bar and the Indian ocean breeze and clear waters.
DAY 8 : Local Excursions
After breakfast you can drive to Shimoni for a dhow ride in the ocean. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere in the dhow as well as some snacks and refreshments. If lucky you will see dolphins among other sea creatures and birds.
For the snorkeling lovers and swimmers, you will get this opportunity at kisite marine park approximately 28km. This is a protected marine sanctuary and a safe haven for marine life including corals, various fish species. You can enjoy walking in the sand during low tide.
You will later sail off to wasini island as you continue to enjoy the deep ocean atmosphere. A variety of Swahili sea foods will be waiting for you at Pili Pipa restaurant for lunch. Arrangements can be made to visit Shimoni slave caves at an extra cost which can be advised.
Return back to your beach hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 : Departure
Enjoy the day at the beach hotel, explore the hotel facilities and the sandy beach in preparation for your final departure.
Depart to the Moi international airport for your international return flight.
